italicum 'Green Marble'

A selected form of this wonderful tuberous perennial which emerges in late autumn with pale green blotched paler arrowhead-shaped leaves in this form. Unaffected by hard frosts, they continue to expand until the spring, whereupon they bear a large spathe-like flower culminating in a spike of red berries by late summer. Easily grown in sun or shade in any kind of fertile drained soil.
