Spectacular members of the Lily family. Eventually forming clumps of sturdy monocarpic(die after flowering)bulbs, which flower in succession. Taking as long as 7 years to flower, on stems 2-4m, bearing large highly fragrant cream trumpets. Best in part shade, acid-neutral, humus rich, well drained soil.
