A Himalayan shrub to 3m, closely related to and resembling Hydrangea. With leaves which are semi-evergreen, persisting in a sheltered spot. Flowering Aug-frost, even through a mild winter, with dense terminal branched clusters of pale blue-violet cymes. Shelter out of cold wind, sun or shade.
