Moderately clump-forming species from the mountains of Central Africa, where it is found growing on mountain sides in wet grassland. Forming tussocks of narrow foliage with stems to less than 1m long, terminating in coral-pink widely spaced flower spikes, with yellowish interiors, from June on.
