From spores we collected high in the mountains close to Tayuling in North-eastern Taiwan. From shortly creeping tussock-forming rhizomes slender erect stems to 30cm tall, with few dark scales, carry very narrow fronds to 17cm long, held on slender stipes, arranged in 2-4 pairs, with a longer terminal frond. Best in shade in a well drained organic soil that does not dry out.
