From our trek down towards Topke Gola with Dan Hinkley in Eastern Nepal in 2002, at 3800m. A perennial species unusually tall for this genus attaining a height of 1m, where we collected it. From deeply delving roots, stems of finely divided foliage is held on upright ribbed stems. Terminating in a congested wide umbel of white, dark centred flowers in wide flat-topped umbels, transforming to flat dark green contrasting seed, backed by white papery bracts. For full sun in a free drained soil with some moisture retention.
