Streptopus (Convallariaceae) norm

amplexicaulis

From seed given to us by Norm Kalbfleisch gathered from the mountains of Oregon State, USA. Which forms tight clumps from short creeping rhizomes, with gracefully arching branched stems 50-100cm long, with clasping leaves all along their lengths, with pendent creamy bells borne April-July, followed by showy elongated red berries. From cool moist mountain forests, easily grown in a well drained leafy soil, in shade. Strong plants.
