Where we collected seed of this small twinning climber to 1.2m tall, curling itself around bamboo on an exposed ridge continually draped in cloud. Growing from a small fleshy rhizome, with thin-textured dark green ovate leaves on the purple twinning stems. Bearing 3.5cm long pale lilac stripped white flowers, followed by elongated purple seed pods, full of black seed. For a peaty soil part shade.
