Latest News regarding Northern Ireland

Our Plant Health inspector has informed us that he is happy to permit plants that are not on the Prohibited List for The EU, to obtain a free of charge Phytosanitary Certificate, for export to an address in Northern Ireland. We can only confirm this once this procedure has been put to the test.

A change in our opening

We have decided to close our onsite sales area due to the more successful regime we adopted during COVID - 19

Our online mailorder will continue to operate as normal. As well as a click and collect service.

We are also happy to receive customers for on-site viewing and purchase of plants, by making a prior appointment (normally too late on the day) Monday - Friday at a convenient time for both parties. It is advisable to come with a wish list from our mailorder website, as there is no longer a specific viewing area.

About us
Crûg Farm Plants is situated in a picturesque area on the North Wales coast.

Originally we ran it as a beef farm, but ever since its transition to a nursery in 1991, Crûg has become a Mecca for extraordinary plants. Initially originating from our own breeding programme, the emphasis has shifted to introducing new and wondrous plants from our annual sorties to remote corners of the globe.
