Pennisetum alopecuroides f. erythrochaetum 'Ferris' BSWJ8413 

Description

A tufted sturdy perennial grass named for the late Ferris Miller, from seed we collected of an exceptionally dark flowering selection growing at his world famous arboretum at Ch'õllip'o, South Korea. Forming stems to 80cm with 10-15cm long by 2cm wide, bristly seed heads held erect, showing off the dark long bristles in the slightest breeze. Best grown in full sun in a well drained soil.
