Description
From seed collected with Dan Hinkley from besides Lake Suda high up in north western Yunnan, China at over 3500m in 2000. Where it formed a sturdy perennial umbellifer to 1m tall from deeply delving roots, with red ribbed stems terminating in a congested many branched wide umbel of white dark centred flowers in wide flat-topped umbels. Transforming to flat dark green contrasting seed backed by white red centred papery bracts from July to September. Best grown in good light to part shade in a free drained soil with some moisture retention.
